Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Our driver / guide will pick you from the hotel in the morning, brief you about the entire journey, arrive at the park in the afternoon hours, check-in at the lodge, have lunch and go for an evening game drive, meet tree climbing lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, you will as well spot flamingos as well which are always seen at the lake shores. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Wake up in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast, go for game drive to spot animals when they are very active in the morning hours, you will meet prides of lions, herds of elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, jackals. Transfer to Serengeti National Park, arrive in the afternoon hours, check-in the lodge, have lunch and go for evening. Spot some heads of zebras, buffaloes, lions, elephants, birds among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
In these two days, you will explore the beauty of Serengeti including viewing the migration of the wildebeests the largest animal migration on earth which attracts predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, bat-eared foxes from all angels to come and attempt to make a kill, you will spot numerous species of birds, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, gazelles all coming to River Grumeti to drink water and cool their bodies. You will as well have lunch picnics, retire to the lodge and have an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro conservation area
Have delicious breakfast, do a game drive with chances of seeing more animals that you might have missed during the previous game drive. Arrive in Ngorongoro area in the afternoon, check-in and have lunch, then head for evening game drive
Meet one – on – one with animals including all the Big 5; buffaloes, lions, elephants, rhinos and leopards, big cats, rare mammals, antelopes and wildebeests. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
You will have the best day in this world’s renowned conservation area. This is a Big 5 destination in northern Tanzania. You will as well hike across the Ngorongoro Crater which is the largest caldera where you will have picnic lunch at a view point, take pictures, spot lots of animals from the view point. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Checkout and transfer to Arusha for departure flight
You will wake up early for an optional sunrise game drive, have breakfast and hit the road back to Arusha. Enjoy lunch enroute in Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, your safari driver will either drop you at the hotel. Or at Arusha Airport for a flight back home or for onward vacation.
