Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park
Our driver / guide will pick you from your hotel after breakfast, brief you about the entire trip and head to Serengeti National Park – home to the vast open grassland plains which harbors a multitude of animals like lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and a recorded number of bird species of about 450 birds.
Have lunch enroute at a scenic view point as guided by the driver guide. You will reach at the lodge in the late evening, check-in at your hotel, have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2. Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will prepare for a full day game drive where you will be lost in the jungle with a safari driver, searching for iconic wildlife like lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, wildebeests, gazelles, topis, elands, alongside numerous birds such as herons, storks and scavenger birds like vultures.
Have picnic lunch at the scenic view point as you spot various animals at your footsteps. You will continue viewing wildlife exploring different scenic points for pictures and videos, if your visit falls in the migration season (June to September), you will witness great migration of wildebeests that cause alarm to predators in a big number. Return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3. Game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Wake up in the morning to catch up with nocturnal animals like hyenas, leopards, lions and bush babies as they wind up with hunting routines, and also grazers like buffaloes, zebras, antelopes that will have survived the craws and canines of the predators. You will later go back to the lodge, load your luggage and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater which is mountainous compared to Serengeti.
Ngorongoro is a home to rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, zebras, hippopotamus, crocodiles to mention but a few. You will take animal viewing points, have a picnic lunch and after drive towards your accommodation. Check-in the accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Game drive and transfer to Arusha
Have an early breakfast, check-out of the lodge and head for a game drive as you check out from the Park premises. Stop at some scenic view points as your driver guide is knowledgeable enough about these points, have a tour around Ngorongoro crater which is the largest crater, descend down through green forests. Proceed with the drive to Arusha, reaching in the evening, enjoy the aura of the hotel and get ready for the flight to Zanzibar next day.
Day 5. Flight to Zanzibar. Stone town tour.
After an early breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to Arusha airport for an outbound flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be picked up by our company representative / driver guide who will take you to the hotel, check-in, have lunch and then start a tour around Zanzibar.
Visit Stone town which is a historical town in Zanzibar for slave trade, visit local markets like Darajani market, you will have an interaction with the locals, buy some souvenirs and then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Zanzibar Beach Tour
After breakfast, you will head to the beach to explore and enjoy long sand beaches. You will have boat cruise, swim with the dolphins, snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming in the Indian Ocean. Lunch shall be served at the beach. One can also enjoy different games like volleyball, beach soccer among other games. Return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7. Departure
After delicious breakfast, our company driver guide will take you to Abeid Karume Airport for your scheduled flight back home or to your next destination. This marks the end of 7 days Safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar safari.
