Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Your driver guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Upon your touch down, the journey to Lake Nakuru – a refuge for birders – begins with breathtaking views of the countryside, the magnificent vast rift valley, bustling cities, and native Kenyans going about their daily business. A lunch stop will be made enroute and the lodge will be reached in the afternoon for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and birding expedition

Coffee will help you start your day off right. Then, you can enjoy a 3-4 hour game drive in the park’s vast savannah. The only way to come across the animals is by luck because the animals roam freely and nobody has an appointment with them.

On your wish list, keep an eye out for the lions, hippos, warthogs and other animals. After the wildlife drive and photographic session, you’ll head back to the lodge for lunch before spending some time in the evening naming and categorizing different kinds of birds.

The magnificent pink flamingos and other bird species are fascinating to watch, so this is not just for bird lovers. You’ll get assistance recognizing them by name, sound, and other factors. After that, head back to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve

You will check out of the lodge following breakfast in order to make the transfer to the Masai Mara national park. With a rest stop along the way, the journey lasts roughly 4-6 hours. The secure path to the reserve provides a magnificent view of the breathtaking scenery, rich foliage and dispersed country homesteads. When you get to your lodge, you’ll check in for lunch, refreshments, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive in Masai Mara reserve. Masai Village visit.

Your ranger guide will take you out in a 4WD with binoculars and cameras to search for prey and predators in the open savannah land after serving you a delicious breakfast at the resort to start the day. The lions, leopards, giraffes, Cape Buffaloes, African elephants, rhinoceroses, warthogs, Olive baboons, monkeys, and other residents are among them. Verdant flora, stunning scenery, and more.

You will return to the lodge for lunch following the 3-4 hours’ game drive, and then there will be an evening cultural performance with the Masai warriors. The evening will offer an opportunity to jump high to the rope while listening to the warrior legends, music, and a village tour while dressed in their traditional attire. End your day at the lodge with dinner and overnight

Day 5: Departure back to Nairobi.

You will leave for a 3- to 4-hour sunrise game drive at around 6:00am. The goal is to run into some of the animals you might have missed the day before. In particular, elusive cats like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. You will then transfer back to the lodge for breakfast before embarking on a half-day drive back to Nairobi city.
