Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you from the Airport and transfer you to Arusha for night stay. The driver guide will brief you about the entire stay in Tanzania, have an overnight stay at the booked hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
In the morning, wake-up, have breakfast and be transferred to Serengeti National Park, you will drive through the city of Arusha, visit some local markets and proceed to the Park. Arrive in the afternoon hours, check-in the lodge, have lunch and go for evening game drive.
Begin with a search for lions, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, spotted hyenas and so many other wildlife. You will get back to the lodge in the late evening, have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
On day 3 & 4, you will explore the hidden treasures on Serengeti National Park. You will encounter all the wildlife found in the park, scenic views, wildebeest migration traversing from Mara River to Serengeti National Park.
Have lunch picnics, scenic views especially on the Grumeti River where animals gather as if they have a jungle meeting. These big numbers of animals attract predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, etc. on a hunting spree. The river banks are always congested with birds, mammals, crocodiles, hippopotamus which beautify your Safari.
Day 5: Game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and later go for sunrise game drive. Catch sightings of numerous animals especially the nocturnal when they are winding up with their night duties, spot the grazers that survived the predators as well, continue with the drive as you leave Serengeti and head for Ngorongoro area. You will have lunch enroute and proceed with the journey.
Arrive in the evening, you might decide to go for a game drive or relax and have a game drive the next day. It is you to decide since the trip is private.
Day 6: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Game drive in Ngorongoro is one of the best rewarding experience and it is done after descending into 610 meters’ crater with lush green forests that are congested with big cats; lions and leopards, plus other wildlife like buffaloes, elephants, elands, Oribis, Topis, wildebeests, zebras and bird species.
This park has the largest caldera which gives best views and you appear to be on top of the Park on this day. Have lunch picnic, proceed viewing the animals till sunset. Be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Game drive and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
Wakeup for breakfast and go for game drive, check-out of Ngorongoro Crater. You will be able to spot animals in the morning hours when they are active looking for what to eat for the day before temperatures soar. Proceed to Lake Manyara, arrive in the evening hours. Here you will be tempted to do a game drive before you even check-in. The majestic welcome by wildlife and spectacular view of this lake will tempt you to do a game drive, be welcomed by herds of elephants, leopards, zebras to mention but a few.
You will also do a boat cruise which allows you to get closer to flamingos which shade the lake shores with pink colour. You will be driven to the park in the evening, check-in, have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Game drive and transfer to Tarangire National Park
Arise in the morning, grab a cup of coffee/coffee and transfer to Tarangire National Park. You will do a game drive as you say a farewell to Lake Manyara National Park. You will have some stopovers for animal viewing, take pictures and proceed to Tarangire.
Arrive in the afternoon, check-in the lodge accommodation, have lunch and later in the evening go for game drive. You will be searching for Big 5 which are lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos, Tarangire is a bird’s haven with over 550 bird species confirmed. You will enjoy the scenery of the park, get back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 9. Full day Game drive in Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is a home to a vast wildlife that occupy baobab, swamps and open plains. You will wake up in the morning, have your breakfast and packed lunch then get lost in the wilderness of the Park.
The park is home to the Big 4 animals, therefore, you have chances to encounter large herds of wildebeests, hartebeests, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, and a number of birds that will be singing in the sweet melodies some of the birds that can be spotted are; Lilac breasted roller, woodland kingfisher, red billed hornbill, African marsh harrier, black headed heron, pygmy falcon, white faced whistling duck, to mention but a few. Lunch picnic as you view animals in their natural and intact habitat and later in the evening, you will go back to the lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Game drive and transfer to Arusha for departure
You will wake up in the early morning to spot animals when they are active, nocturnal animals will be looking for food to take them through the day, while grazers look for fresh grass, birds singing melodies as they get out of their nests. Go back to the lodge, have breakfast and check-out of the lodge. You will have lunch enroute and the driver guide will either drop you at the Airport or at the hotel depending on time of the flight.
