Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and optional Nairobi city tour
Your driver guide will meet and greet you when you arrive in Nairobi, Kenya. Transferring to the lodge for refreshments and check-in follows. Once everything is ready, you’ll go on a tour of Nairobi, stopping at places like an elephant orphanage, a giraffe center, a market, and more. Feel free to connect with the natives, pick up some Swahili words, and buy a few things you’ll need for the 15-day trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Return to the hotel when your tour is over to sample some of Kenya’s best food before taking a relaxing siesta before going to bed.
Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
A sunny day awaits you as breakfast is delivered on schedule. Breakfast is followed by a 5- to 6-hour drive to the Masai Mara National Park, a home for a wide diversity of flora and fauna. The Great Rift Valley will be a break along the way, and Narok town will be the location of lunch stop.
Rolling hills, homesteads, and plantations can be seen throughout the way. A two-hour trip will get you to the Masai Mara away from Narok Town. You will check in to the lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Full day Masai Mara Safari
Breakfast is served before dawn, followed by an exciting full-day animal viewing tour in the park’s open savannah and other areas. Every year, the Masai Mara receives more than 1000,000 wildebeests, zebras, and other animals from the Serengeti National Park. This stunning migration features a struggle for survival at the Mara River.
The ranger’s guide will assist you in recognizing any monkeys, reptiles, plants, prey, or predators that you may come across while searching. You could run into lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, eagles, warthogs, and other animals today. For a memorable holiday, you will eat lunch in the woods before returning to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Bird watching and cultural encounter
Today, at around 6:00 a.m., the lodge will serve an energizing breakfast. The next activity on the schedule is bird watching from 7:00 to 11:00. The roughly 450 bird species that can be found in swamps and woodlands can be identified by name, sound, and habitat with the aid of a birding guide. The Kori-bustard, ostrich, vultures, egrets, cranes, storks, and other famous occupants are only a few. You will go back to the lodge for lunch and refreshments at noon. A tour to the Masai warriors in their home towns comes before your lunch. Amazing tales, perceptions into country life, the cow keeping lifestyle, and more till dusk. After dinner, retire to the lodge for a night.
Day 5: Transfer Lake Naivasha – boat cruise
Check out of the hotel and head to Lake Naivasha after breakfast. The trip takes three to five hours, with views of the beautiful countryside and verdant plantations. Lunch is served when you arrive in the afternoon. You’ll take a delightful boat cruise after the lunch. You can take pictures, enjoy the cool lake breeze, and see hippos, crocodiles, among other animals, there. Dinner and an overnight stay-over mark the end of the day.
Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Explore Hell’s Gate National park
With a cheerful cup of coffee, start your day off right. Following a 3- to 4-hour game drive during which you keep an eye out for predators and prey moving about the park. You will spend the evenings at the Lodge and retire to bed after dinner with a magnificent view of what is happening in the surrounding area.
Day 7: Hell’s Gate National park to Lake Nakuru
Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee when you first wake up, and then join a 3-hour guided nature walk to visit the geothermal station and hot springs. You will then go back to the resort to check out in preparation for your transfer to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, have dinner and take a restful sleep.
Day 8: Full day at Lake Nakuru National Park
You will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge at 7:00 a.m. The rest of the day will be spent in the outdoors watching for prey and predators that are freely feeding, hunting, and more, so take a lunch and all the necessary equipment. Among others, you have the chance of seeing and hearing giraffes, leopards, warthogs, zebras, cheetahs, lions, and other animals.
Day 8 ends at the lodge with dinner and overnight after the morning and evening game drives. We’ll have a picnic lunch.
Day 9: Fly to Arusha – Tanzania
Breakfast and pack your bags for Tanzania, the largest country in east Africa. This should be done between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. After breakfast, you’ll check out and make your way to Nairobi, where your flight to Tanzania is scheduled to depart from. When you arrive in Arusha, Tanzania, a representative from our company will greet you and go over what to expect during your safari in Tanzania. You will then be driven to your hotel for a rest, meal and night’s sleep.
Day 10: Transfer to Serengeti National park
Improve the flavor of your morning coffee. After that, leave the resort and have a wonderful drive to the Serengeti National Park, taking in the scenery and the scattered homesteads. Tanzania’s northern safari route includes the Serengeti National Park. The drive will last for roughly 6-7 hours, including a lunch stop. Late in the day, you’ll arrive at your lodge where you may rest, eat, and take a siesta.
Day 11: Full day game drive
First thing today is mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. What follows is a full day spent in the wild, looking out for the prey, predators, and enjoying the stunning view of the landscape, enjoy the beautiful weather, identify the birds, and more. Serengeti plains is home to zebras, lions, cheetah, waterbucks, wildebeests, giraffes, cape Buffaloes, the elephants, Rhinoceros, and more. Talk of the birds and primates.
Taking photos, taking note of the animal names, sound, and more is what you will do for the entire day. Lunch will be in the wild. If you are lucky, you might encounter the world’s greatest animal movement; the annual wildebeest migration. This day ends with dinner and a peaceful nap.
Day 12: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, you will leave for the Ngorongoro crater, stopping along the way at Olduvai Gorge to learn about human evolution and the fossils that have been found and are thought to belong to the planet’s oldest man. After that, you continue your journey to your lodge, getting there in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Full day Ngorongoro crater experience
Start your day at Ngorongoro in the same way that Africans typically do. When considering how the day will end, the day begins. After breakfast, you should think of a few questions about what the day will bring: Will there be a hunt? Can an animal be delivered? Will grazers be raging in the pasture? Will primates be at the tree branches? And any other questions that will help us start and conclude the day safely.
Everything that happens in the crater is truly a unique experience, even a picnic lunch. The Africa Big 5-lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and cape buffaloes, are among the residents you can anticipate to watch. This day will come to a conclusion around dusk with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 14: Transfer to Arusha National park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge to start the day, and then go to Arusha National Park, your final stop. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon and eat a scrumptious lunch.
Rest of the evening will be spent enjoying and touring Mount Meru’s base, taking pictures and other activities. Before the day is done with dinner and overnight, a few animals will come to your sight.
Day 15: Departure
Following breakfast, you will spend the following three hours on a game drive saying goodbye to the giraffes and other wildlife. After that, you will check out of the lodge and be driven an hour to the airport in Arusha for your departure.
If you have time, take a tour of Arusha city, stopping to support local businesses, buy some souvenirs and exit the country through Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
