Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Our driver will pick you from the hotel / Airport and transfer you to Masai Mara, you will have lunch enroute where you will have fascinating view of the Park, you will proceed to the to the hotel for accommodation, check-in and go for evening game drive, spot some animals like wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos, you will have a brief look at these animals till sunset, go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2. Full day game drive in Masai Mara
Arise in the early morning, have mouth-watering breakfast, get ready and set off for the game drive, begin by searching for the Big 5 especially the lions and leopards which are always very active in the morning hours before they shy away from the day’s temperatures and it’s in the morning when they are winding up with hunting, spot other wildlife like buffaloes, rhinos and elephants which are part of Big 5.
Spot other animals like cheetahs, Oribis, impalas, jackals, bat eared fox, honey badger, pangolins to mention but a few, you will have a lunch enroute near the Mara River where you will view animals surrounding the River bank in big numbers, spot almost all the animals coming to drink water, spot how elephants swim, and if you travel to Masai Mara in the season between July and September, you will see how wildebeests traverse Mara River and this migration attracts animals predators like leopards, cheetahs, lions, hyenas and vultures, enjoy the view of these animals till late evening where you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Game drive and transfer to Serengeti National Park
Wake up in the early morning, enjoy breakfast, check out and get to the jungle to catch up with animals when they are still active; take track of animals as you say farewell to the Park. Exit Masai Mara and go through the vast Villages, where you may stop and interact with some local people, have lunch enroute in a decent restaurant and proceed to Serengeti National Park via Isebania boarder. You will arrive in the evening, check-in at the lodge and wait for the next day’s adventure.
Day 4. Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
You will arise in the early morning, have breakfast, get lunch packed and get lost in the jungle. Serengeti is the most famous National Park in Tanzania and entertaining the whole year because of its multitudes of animals especially the Big 5 plus the iconic wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, birds and more.
Settle for picnic lunch near Grumeti River where you will be able to spot large numbers of wildebeests as swim across and flight with the furious cats. After lunch, proceed with the game viewing session till sunset. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro
On this day, you will wake up early, have breakfast and check-out of the lodge; do a game drive in the morning and continue as you say farewell to Serengeti National Park, have an enroute stopover tat Olduvai Gorge museum where the skull of the first man was discovered.
Have lunch enroute, arrive at the lodge in Ngorongoro Crater in the evening, do short game drive where you will be welcomed by herds of wildebeests, rhinos, lions, elephants, leopards among other wildlife. Later go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Game drive and transfer to Arusha for departure
Wake up in the morning, greet your intestines with a cup of tea/coffee. Go for a game drive to catch the animals when they are very active. You will spot lions in large prides and if you are lucky you may find them making a kill – an extra ordinary experience; spot wildebeests, cheetahs as you enjoy sweet melodies from birds and insects. Later go back to the lodge, check-out and be transferred to Arusha / Kilimanjaro airport.
Have lunch enroute. Depending on your flight time, you will either be dropped at the hotel or at the Airport for exit flight.
