4-Day Safari – Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Exploration

Manyara-Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari: Have a wonderful time as you explore these unique safari destinations. Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro conservation crater area. This will give you access to one of seven world’s wonders – the annual wildebeest migration where wildebeests migrate in millions escorted by thousands of zebras and gazelles; rare tree climbing lions of Lake Manyara national park, flamingoes, predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and vultures.

Game drives will occupy most of the days, but sunrise, sunset, picnic lunch will also be enjoyed while on this Manyara-Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and game drive

Be picked from Arusha city at any agreed point by the driver guide and you will head straight head to the amazing destination that is Lake Manyara national park, home of rare tree climbing lions.
The park gets its name from a shallow soda Lake that covers two thirds of the park called Lake Manyara. Arrive and take an evening game drive where you will encounter different animals including African wild cat, golden cat, bat-eared fox, cheetah, civet, hyena, jackal, lion and leopards. Head to the booked lodge for night stay.

Day 2: Game drive and head to Serengeti National Park

Have another dose of the game drive in Lake Manyara national park with the main aim of searching rare tree climbing lions. This is second to Queen Elizabeth National Park of Uganda, where people can spot climbing lions. Other animals that you will see are elephants, warthogs, antelopes, hippos and buffaloes.
Later on, head to Serengeti national park, known as a hub for the annual wildebeest migration which is one of the world’s biggest wonder. Apart from wildebeests, the park shelters zebras, lions, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, leopards and more. Arrive late evening and head to the lodge for night stay.

Day 3: Full day safari in Serengeti national park (game drives)

Spend this wonderful day in the jungle undertaking game drives where different wildlife will be spotted including enjoyment of moments like picnic lunch, morning sunrise and evening sunset, predators hunting and annual wildebeest migration which is one of the wonders in the world.
Meet animals like wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebras, lions, giraffes, hippos, elephants and baboons, birds like the grey throated spur fowl, Schawlow’s wheatears, red throated tits, rufous-tailed weavers, grey-crested helmet shrike and sun birds. Your eyes will roll to the endless plains, perfect for scenic photography.

Day 4: Explore Ngorongoro crater and head back to Arusha

Leave Serengeti national park in the morning for about one hour. Take a game drive that will last for about 4 to 5 hours while in the wild. This will offer you an opportunity to spot wild animals. Such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. After the game drive, proceed with a picnic lunch in the wild as you find your way to Arusha. The safari will end after a drop-off at any agreed point.
